Christine Bednarz is a digital content strategist, writer, and artist in Washington, D.C.

She is director of communications at the National Endowment for Democracy and the former manager of the travel digital editorial team at National Geographic. Previously, Christine worked at a think tank in Sarajevo and for a start-up in Tel Aviv, after studying in Novi Sad, Serbia. She holds a Master of Arts in Eastern and Central European Studies from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and dual-degree Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from James Madison University in Virginia.
